Last week the U.S. MBA mortgage applications index rose 2.2% qoq

American Bankers Association ("MBA") announced on Wednesday reported last week, U.S. mortgage applications index rose for the second consecutive week because of the decline in the cost of borrowing on mortgage refinancing activity has played an encouraging role.

The report shows that as of January 7 week MBA mortgage applications index rose 2.2% over the previous week.
